Radiation therapy:
Imagine nude sunbathing for three days straight in July, and the sun doesn't set the entire time. It's like that.

Yikes.
According to what I've heard from a lot of people who either directly experienced it, or watched their loved ones go through it...
Apparently chemo and other standard cancer treatments are so monumentally traumatic that many people say they'd choose to die instead.
Have heard people say their loved ones told them never to do it.
I dunno...
When it all comes down to it, who's to say if they'd stick to their guns on that one or not.
Just sounds like not only a terrible experience, but something that drains your energy in a way that is very hard to recover from.

Maybe it also depends on how progressed their cancer was though.

When I organically come up with an "It's like that" analogy, I'll post it, lol.

Evidently I suffered it remarkably well.
My junk is red as a lobster though. I have to spread Vaseline from my lower back to my upper thighs to keep moisture in my skin.
I'm glad you got the gist of this thread. I thought of it as a way to describe to other people experiences they might not ever have themselves.
