Good retro style vocals, nothing too modern about it. I approve.

Always sucks when they make retrowave with a vocalist who puts an obvious, insufferable millennial/Gen-Z vocal twist on things. Totally ruins any convincing retro quality the song may have had.

The male's vocals are a little less insufferable... but the female vocals, well I've never heard a better example of the exact singing style which I despise.

I dunno what it's called, but I do know that it actually started in the early 2000s, and reached hellish perfection in the 2010s.

No bullshit, if hell had a soundtrack, this singing style would be it... in a cappella, with only ukulele.
