You never know what people are going through...

I was in checkout at WalMart and this super sweet cashier lady who I've seen several times before was telling this old man in front of me how her husband had just up and left her one day. She said "It really just broke my heart." And she was like, "But I'm over it now." I think the old man was talking about his wife dying or... leaving him too or something. Not sure.

This lady is really petite and pretty for an older chick though... I kind of feel second hand regret for her husband. LOL. Good luck finding somebody that nice again...

Not as bad as that one time I was in checkout at the Dollar Store...

There was a pretty long line, it was taking a while. The lady in front of me was talking to the cashier lady... both middle aged. They were discussing their STOMACH CANCER. The cashier lady was apparently in remission, and the lady in front of me was buying diapers. She said and I quote... "I just borrow food now. 15 or 20 minutes and it's come back out."

At this point I'm like OMG...

Meanwhile, the cocksuckers behind me in line were bitching about the wait. I guess they didn't hear what I heard. They better not have... and still have the gaul to bitch? Mm mm... no ma'am.

I was as nice as I could be to the cashier lady and I really just won't forget that.
