It would be fine if there was no monetization and the platform was just as great as it used to be in like 2006 or something, but LMAO it's a far cry from that now.

The thing with social media as well is that whatever and whoever big player is, they´re going to stay the big player because of how the human psyche works in terms of social media. Everyone wants to be on the big platform. And the "Oh there´s a chance for monetization if I get enough subs..." is adding to the effect on the mind. And they deviously set the bar just where basically every single human on the planet can see themselves getting too.

It wouldn´t surprise me if Twitter and Facebook, should serious competition arise, would start their own ad monetization schemes.
