You ever wake up like “Where am I?!”

Only briefly of course, only briefly.

I’ve done this several times in my life, along with the one where you think you’re somewhere else (childhood home etc.) for a split second.

Yes, I have awakened in a state of mental confusion where you don't know where or who you are. It takes about 3 seconds to fade and re-sync. It is a quite frightening experience, fortunately, it has only happened several times in my entire life. The fade away to reality is about the same length of time for awareness of a deja vue to fade away.

I think that tends to happen when you´ve slept hard as hell. Like, your brain getting a complete reboot. It´s probably very healthy for the brain.
