I've seen a ton of them this year and they almost ALWAYS have a spider middle section in their clutches carrying it along on the ground, I guess back to their nests or something?!
The insect corpses they carry are as big as they are!!!

Apparently they immobilize the spider by biting off the legs?! WHAT THE FUCK!!!

Now me personally, I have a fondness for spiders. I appreciate them and whatnot.
But whenever I see this little wasp guy carrying around a huge corpse, I dunno, I just get a soft spot for them!!!
It's fascinating!!!
And when you see them without a corpse they're all jittery and shit like they're jonesing super hard for another kill!!!

Well it's a fascinating thought to me...
If it's the spider wasp's entire existence to hunt and transport spiders, I guess to keep the spider population under control...

People said the daddy long legs is more poisonus than the widow aka red back but its teeth are turned under so it can't bite humans. Because they can kill a widow in seconds. Scientists have come out and said no, that the long legs actually has no venom at all but it just quicker than the widow.
