What do you think about when you go to sleep?

What past and present and future events glide through your neurotransmitters, to get you to become unconscious once again?
What thoughts does it take to connect you back to home again?
Tell us friends, it may be interesting.

usually nothing. i still my mind and focus on the present moment, feeling comfy. took me a long time to be able to do that, i used to have the racing thoughts that would keep me up. i'll still get some thoughts pop in my head at times, but it's stuff like `oh i forgot to set my alarm.`

this is unless i'm pissed off about something. i cannot go to sleep when i'm angry. i have to come to some form of understanding or resolution.

I’ve seen a lot of funny memes about the ‘racing thoughts’ that happen before sleep.

It is very common, the norm even I’d say.

It’s natural... a consolidation and integration process.
