I see it more like at different stages of planetary history, the storms have been extreme or way over the top compared to what we see now. Maybe because of the sun or something. I can't remember what they blame it on. We don't see it happening now because we wouldn't be able to survive on a planet with that kinda shit going on. Right now the conditions are perfect for life of our kind, but it seems like lately all we've been doing is leaving a huge layer of weird plastic trash for future earthlings to find... or not.
I mean don't get me wrong... I do dig the idea of my 5000 year old Crocs being found and whatnot, but is that the deepest most meaningful thing I can offer up!? If you had a device that could see the entire life of the shoe from its own perspective, then it might be pretty badass. Hella embarrassing for me though.
I just assume Crocs will be indestructible and survive for 1000s of years, but maybe that assumption is wrong. I dunno, seems like they really would.
One of those shoes looks normal, but the others?? I just don't get it.
How the fuck?
Were there different species of "people" back then??
Were those shoes for some kinda animal or something?
Maybe Egyptians had short toes.

Maybe there's something to the turned up toes.
Maybe it's about avoiding toe stubbing and other toe dangers related to walking up on yo feet 'n sheeit.
