I love this movie and unlike most of the movies I love, I've only seen it once (pretty sure). I always mention this one along with Interstellar (2014) but the two are quite different so it's not a contest. Two of my favorite movies of all time.

It's too bad we couldn't just be up there without suits so we could really grasp the enormity of that silence in contrast to the size of the planet. It'd be so cool to know whether there IS a sound. Maybe it sounds like a gentle, distant roar. Probably not though. Holy crap.

It's the one thing about this movie that wouldn't stand the test of time compared to Interstellar, but like I said, it's not really a contest.
