S2 E7
The intro seems hurried. The narrator talked faster, and got cut off at the end. No Boot Hill sequence in this episode.
Yeah it was like the worst opening credits sequence/narration ever... they do that when they wanna squeeze every last extra second they can for the story. Pretty sure that intro only happens like one or two other times, they knew it was super bad. Lmao.
You can tell they had to do some interesting shit in editing sometimes... using the shorter Boot Hill intro clips, using the faster narrator, strange cuts and transitions. Things were different back in the '50s, none of this stuff was digital so I'm thinking the editing was VERY manual.
S2 E9
Well, they had enough time to let this scene unfold at a leisurely pace.

Manually cutting and splicing was about the only way they had to edit film back then.
Before noiseless recording, it was particularly bad. You could hear a pop every time the camera angle changed.

I think they actually speed up the sound in those short intros.
