Circumcision = crime against humanity, mass trauma and abuse perpetrated on the most vulnerable of all populations: babies. Sick, disgusting, and not something that can continue in a society with any type of higher aim or purpose. Space travel, advanced tech, life extension... forget about it. Such a society is ultimately doomed. They might have great ideas and make some progress, but continuing to casually engage in such barbaric practices will cost them everything at some point.
