Singer is good enough for retrowave, there are some tiny quirks that he does have which would be so great if like he totally didn't do that, but whatever. I do not find his vocals at all repulsive to the genre, so he is approved by me.
My only beef with this is why in the fuck does it say "clean eyes"?? Isn't he saying "green eyes"?? If not, he should be. But whatever, it's good.

As much as I love the Commodore 64, I have to admit I'm not a fan of SID music for its own sake. It's tolerable in the context of a video game or whatever, but I don't think I could listen to 11 hours of it. It may be your cup o' tea though.
Then again, I'm over 7 minutes into the compilation and still listening. These selections are better than a lot of SID compositions I've heard.
There are a few musical elements that I don’t really like in this song.
But the use of the main “revving” sound is just fucking amazing.
I do think generally, making retrowave songs with ‘racing’ anywhere in the title is a bad idea...
Maybe in the earlier days of the genre it was okay, but now it should be avoided.
“King of the Streets” is a great song with a covertly racing themed title.

I approve of her voice and singing style, which is a rare thing for me.
It's clear she has an accent.
She doesn't do anything too modern... that's her saving grace.
I totally hate the chorus though.
