The ranking of contracted YouTubers' comments in the comments sections is one indication of the way the game is rigged now.
All the same commenters appear in the Top Comments section.
Soon, commenting will be closed entirely and YouTube will become the internet's "TV".
This also spells YouTube's demise. No one wants "TV" anymore.
But YouTube isn't burying themselves blindly. They know what they're doing.
The 10+ year test of YouTube as a free-for-all video sharing platform showed that eventually, the public seek to unite over truths and freedom of expression, which destroys the elitist control paradigm, and they can't have that.
They feel as though they are destroying the 'monster' they created just in the nick of time, but people have already been 'woke' if you will. It won't be forgotten.
