The ranking of contracted YouTubers' comments in the comments sections is one indication of the way the game is rigged now.
All the same commenters appear in the Top Comments section.
Soon, commenting will be closed entirely and YouTube will become the internet's "TV".
This also spells YouTube's demise. No one wants "TV" anymore.
But YouTube isn't burying themselves blindly. They know what they're doing.
The 10+ year test of YouTube as a free-for-all video sharing platform showed that eventually, the public seek to unite over truths and freedom of expression, which destroys the elitist control paradigm, and they can't have that.
They feel as though they are destroying the 'monster' they created just in the nick of time, but people have already been 'woke' if you will. It won't be forgotten.

It must really be annoying for the leftists at Google, knowing they have Alex Jones and all these other ever more popular right wingers and nationalists or just straight up people who don´t buy into their "da evil white man be robbin n rapin us" BS. I think the deciding factor here is how sjw they actually are at the absolute top, they people with the power to actually go "disable all comments, period."
But I think I also said this before if they do mess up big time, it will push even more for politically unbiased competitors out there. Although, and I´m not 100% sure on this... Wasn´t Youtube neutral in the beginning too? Shit. There´s no telling how this will play out.

comment ability will remain... however it will be an illusion. it will be similar to reddit's shadowban system in which other users cannot see real comments, but the upgrade is that the comment section will be filled with posts from A.I. that react in certain ways in order to modify the user's behavior.

Yeah that's plausible... you might as well not even bother commenting because no one will see it, and their secret system will ban you to make sure no one does.
That's why there are no notifications anymore when someone replies to your comment... they've been making these changes for a long time.
The people in the Top Comments are literal cancer...
It's getting close to intolerable already.

Man this happened years ago with google pus so I made some fake ID"s which still work and even after massively abusing people calling them all sorts of bizare profanity they still work. They kept doing they "give me a phone number shit", which I never did, and it still just works, so fuck google the poofter cunts I hope someone blows them up!

Fuck I still have an ID from 2006 that still works I linked it to some bogus email for google pus but if you log in on the same IP with different accounts they start the give me your phone number shit.
