So one thing leads to another and I'm randomly looking at this box of Kroger brand bran flakes...

So here's the thing...
It's not even a BAD message...
BUT...
There's a foundational principle behind the 'fake it til you make it' concept, and that particular wording of the concept does leave a lot to be desired.
The idea is basically that you have to ACT AS THOUGH you ALREADY ARE who you want to be, or you ALREADY HAVE what you want.
I get where this cereal box (WTF?!?!?!?!?) is coming from, and it's a valid point. Both things are true... be a unique expression, be yourself. But you also CAN "fake it" til you "make it".
Very interesting and wholly unexpected, because what the actual fuck? A cereal box? REALLY?! WHAT!?
