If we wake up tomorrow and a one child per couple law is implemented globally, then I'll believe they are actually trying to depopulate the planet.

Here's a depopulation agenda that would actually work. Make people 100% financially responsible for their children. Get rid of food stamps, welfare, social security, foreign aid, grain subsidies, fuel subsidies, Medicare, etc. What do you think would happen to the population then?

world population can safely double from here , however that should be over a very long time period say the next 100 years and by that point it needs to peak out and slightly decline ....so there is zero need for drastic policies that cause war and famine and bickering between nations , this can all be done in a smooth mature manner . what really needs to come to a stop is the 1% hoarding wealth that in itself deserves a violent revolution , fuck yeah

I'm afraid I just have a far more grim picture of our future than some.

The only way this whole thing makes any sense is if this weaponized virus was just a purposely weaker version of one they really want to release to eliminate most of the elderly who will be a huge burden on future taxpayers and health care systems, call it the 'logans run virus'. The current version will only liquidate 500,000 of the most fragile oldtimers , that wont be near enough to solve the problem. Look for the amped up version to be released wothin 2 years and kill over 500 million. During that real man made pandemic the banking elites will bring about total financial collapse to reset the entire global debt and monetary system without the burden of very old sickly types. It is cruel and less humane than the movie version where at least the plus 40s were put to death quickly

This is one conspiracy I'm willing to entertain. The virus seems hardwired to knock out a certain age range. Even the annual flu kills quite a few teenagers and fairly young people. The mortality rate among the young with this flu is astonishingly low. The worlds population is rising primarily due to longer lifespans, and developed countries are already in an unsustainable situation in regards to Social Security, Medicare etc. The "elite" may want to reduce the population, BUT they do not want to lose too many productive age people. The elderly are seen as dead weight, no longer contributing and a drain on the system.
