I feel the same way about you, Sister!
I wanted to see if you’d check out these other couple songs. I’m going to redo these at some point soon because I’m getting to a place where I’ve got a good catalogue of songs that I have been practicing a lot and feel confident enough to do some real solid professional recordings to put on some kind of demo album!
I love love love this one:
Funny How Time Slips Away (Willie Nelson Cover)

This one I recently discovered and I really just fell in love with the lyrics and the vocal stylings.
Baby, Where You Are (Ted Lucas Cover)

and I’m really sorry to bog you down with these it’s just I feel like my friends and ppl I know get annoyed with me constantly asking them to listen to my songs and you’re the only one other than my mom that I feel like REALLY listens to them.
But I found this underrated, slept on classic from 1969 that I just immediately connected with and I love this incredible weird haunting organ solo (keyboard? Idk what instrument but sounds like the electronic sounds those tornado siren test alerts make I’m not sure) but this is
Early Blue (F J McMahon Cover)

Haha all three of those I want to redo because I was quite sleep deprived, kinda off key in some spots and just rougher vocals on these that I know I can touch up and really make spectacular.
But you said you enjoy raw first take sort of stuff so you might appreciate these more than some people would.
