You can either pull a piece of tape long enough to wrap itself around the spool of tape and then use that to roll over the linty surface...

Or you can simply cut off a strip and do it that way.

There's a product for EVERYTHING when there really doesn't need to be...

That was a phenomenon of the 20th century, but now we're going to force things into a more simplified way of living.

A few products for everything instead of a thousand products for every little thing.

For example... soap.

Irish Spring (liquid version) is classified as a detergent. I use it to wash clothes, I use it for regular soap (although I don't really use it in the shower, I use paraben free soaps etc.), you can use it to clean the toilet, you can even use it for dishes but you gotta rinse like 3 extra times when you do the dishes with it, so I don't really use it for that.

This is one of the best methods, your hand will fit perfectly through the hole if you're using masking tape or even duct tape.

I buy the cheapest duct tape on Amazon and set aside a roll for this purpose.

I can clearly see that you would rather be more concenious about spending and the effectiveness of tools which you would otherwise see as redundant or wasteful

But the efficiencies don't add up. It's just easier to do it holding a handle and having it spin easily and freely amongst the surface of fibers.

also i feel like duct tape would ravage delicate knits. i find painters tape to be the most supreme of all tapes due to how many things you can do with it, and how it ruins basically nothing in the process.

Yup, thick/wide spools of masking tape.

Masking tape is probably cheaper than duct tape.

Not sure, I mean tape isn't cheap anyway.

But it's definitely a safer bet to go with masking tape.
