I dunno...

What constitutes as being a "model" in this Instagram/OF day and age??

If they were actually under contract and had a "mgmt" email address/contact in their social media bios, then yeah, that's a model according to 2023 standards.

If not...

They may have been homejob models, not that there's anything wrong with that.

But if you think about it, some type of profiting from the trend du jour, even if it's living in a van, is the logical next step for a homejob "model" who isn't getting enough $$$ in their endeavors up to this point.

But yeah.

Yeah, if they were homejob models, that is all good, and more power too them. A few people just speculated that they were produced. They were probably somewhere in between. There is some kind of non-disclosure going on with these model types though, because they straight up lie about everything and are just like "I live in my van, hehe."

Okay. I won't talk about it anymore on Unstoppable Morgan's thread though. Sorry.

I'm watching that off-grid vid Dev. It's really good.

Okay, that girl on the channel does a perfect narration for that ghost town, off-grid guy.

If somebody has actual personality and talent, they're probably not faking or trafficked.

It's the people who literally look like fucking hostages in weird situations in their videos who are trafficked.

Dude, that is Wandxr Bus. They are literally Barbie and Ken. The most ditzy couple of models you could imagine. It was comical to watch them act like they lived in their van.

They had a vintage VW Bus, and professional filming...

Bottom line, when any niche becomes MASSIVELY popular...

It becomes mainstream and therefore corporate interests will automatically be involved.

And I think becoming mainstream popular is...

Anti niche.

So it's an oversaturation problem.

Vanlife (and homesteading) has reached massively popular status, and WAY before YouTube publicly admitted that "interest in it" skyrocketed too. Like over the past COUPLE years. Whatever YouTube, you motherfuckers know it was already blown the fuck up by 2018.

YouTube trying to say vanlife exploded in popularity during ~2021, lmfao motherfucker please.

It was oversaturated in 2019.

Oversaturated in 2018.

Maybe still "nichey" in 2017, but becoming WAY more widely known and viewed.
