What are the peculiars that are making people think it's artificial? 

• Much brighter than it should be, indicating presence of reflective metals. 
• Surface composition doesn't match any known comet or asteroid profile.
• Increasing signs of Nickle, but no Iron, indicating artificiality.
• Moving too fast.
• Variations in speed that cannot be attributed to solar or gravitational effects.
• Is not gravitationally behaving as an object should if drifting—it's not following a gravitational path.
• Path is so specific and sharp that it appears exactly as if it's navigating.
• Rigid normies in the scientific community are getting twitchy.
• Data suggests... the presence of... "advanced carbon structures"....  (under analysis) ...
• Hints of symmetry in the object's spin movement.
• Even though spinning, one side absorbs more heat than the other, which should be impossible unless it's by 'design'.
• Fluctuations of electromagnetic readings hint at internal complexity. 
• Intense movement of scientists from around the world to cluster in centers where they can analyze collectively.

And, finally:
It appears to be coming from the very center of our own galaxy.
Given the staggering pull the of the black hole, how could it come from there to here if drifting? There's no way. Period. This all by itself...  I mean...  Damn. 

Could this be the real deal? 

It's hard to imagine this just poofing away and we all forget about it like we did the Epstein files, unless nothing happens to affect our reality on earth. But the size of the coma is absurd, and at the very least the coma will pass through the earth. That's just math. It's half the size of the fucking sun.

Some new things to add to the "it's artificial" list--

• 3I Atlas should be ice cold if just an object drifting, or it would only be heated if near a star, but not as hot as it's registering. In order for it to be as hot as it is, it would have to be undergoing some form of internal nuclear reaction, which would tear an asteroid or comet apart. 

• It made adjustments to its course to be where it is now, which would require enormous energy. 

The source isn't great, but it's not a huge leap from other stuff we've gone over:

Assuming Atlas isn't artificial, and this following info is accurate (source: Google Ai Overview via Nasa), it looks like the Coma is actually not going to touch the earth due to distance.

Trajectory and Closest Approach

• 3I Atlas is traveling on an open, hyperbolic path, meaning it will only pass through our solar system once.
• The object's path brings it close to the orbits of Mars and Venus, but not Earth.
• The closest 3I/Atlas will come to Earth is 1.6 astronomical units (AU), which is more than 1.5 times the distance from the Earth to the Sun.

Why it's Not a Threat

• Astronomers have observed its trajectory and determined that it will not come within Earth's orbital path.
• Its path is such that Earth will be on the opposite side of the Sun when 3I/Atlas makes its closest approach to our star in October 2025.

Whew... I hope.

NGL I've had a dreadful and probably totally irrational fear that it's some kind of "sun killer" weapon.

The thing that's nagging at me, is... Nasa is saying that it's not a threat given its trajectory and distance, yet nothing about this thing has been predictable, really, so... I don't know how to glean comfort from "given its trajectory, it's not a threat".

The coma has a shit-ton of Co2. Earth can convert small amounts into oxygen with trees, but what happens if it alters course and the coma sweeps over earth and just saturates it with Co2? That wouldn't be good. 

SCBA's are already quite expensive... probably be a good addition to any prepper's home. 

It's a good time to date a firefighter.

Am I tripping or is the sun too high in the sky for the hour of the day? It’s almost 7 o’clock in Boulder, where I’m currently at and it looks like it’s about 5 o’clock, to make matters worse there’s this smoky mist permeating the sky, so it should be much darker. Something just feels weird.
