They absolutely are hovering over that delete button for the channel though...
Removing strikes, adding back strikes...
All kinds of deliberation taking place over the channel for sure.
They are probably making exceptions for it...
It won't be deleted, it would just be too massive a fuckup for YouTube.

Yup.
The only way they´re deleting it, is if the hot shots there, the ones who will make the final call, can imagine living with themselves knowing the entire world knows they, as a huge media platform, censored someone because they couldn´t stand them expressing other views and ideas.
There´s nothing they could do to convince anyone that they´re not bigots if they push the big red ban button.

OMG I wish I was that glass of water Alex has his hand around...makes me so hot!!!
26:34 when he starts telling his story like that, it kinda baffles me how people can't tell he's genuine and he really did do all this by his own passion and drive.
38:00 he's so right, it's so true.
41:44 pretty interesting points.
44:48 God yes...
God yes, Alex Jones forever and ever.

He says he´d sue them if they banned him. That´s interesting. That would be such a huge mess for Youtube.

Btw, if they ban him, you could make arguments about that having an impact on US democracy, seeing as he´s a huge media icon.

Believe it or not... As tough as this "censorship" is... I think that TPTB banning, censoring, etc. is a good thing for the public... It is pushing the public to utilize or create it's own communications, perhaps being considered "underground" at first, which will not be under the control of TPTB and will be more open and free to intelligent, independent, and alternative cultures.... Like, they are literally giving us their power and authority over our lives by pushing us to use new platforms... I am excited, actually... I can't wait for new and novel ways of communication...
Lol... I view Google/Youtube kind of as parents or school teachers who knew how to create these types of video platforms, and are now pushing us to create new ways of communication based off of what they did and taught us by kicking us out of their house, so to speak............. I realize that may sound pretty gay or something, somewhat. I realize that. lol
I think that infowars, being the somewhat influential organization that it is, could possibly play a part in leading the public to utilizing it's own resources if they do so as an example....

Ehhh... Idk if enough people like Infowars enough to care... lol... Sadly...
And I don't think Infowars would have a leg to stand on, legally, against Youtube, IMO. I'm pretty sure Youtube has all of this kind of thing already covered...

The only thing I agree with in any of that is the concept that legal action may not be successful ONLY because the courts are undoubtedly corrupt.

while the majority of courts are corrupt, that doesn't matter here. look at your own site here. you can run it anyway you wish, as long as you're not violating your host's policy or laws about copyright and illegal shit. no one can sue you for deleting posts or banning users. as it should be.
the government has no place in telling youtube how to run its site. [yeah yeah, yt is goog is cia etc.] i'm against what youtube is doing, but also against government intervention. this is a free market issue. the intelligent people have been realizing the need for another platform. many will be created, the better options will succeed. this will starve yt. leftists aren't known for having a lot of money, they generally spend other people's money. adviews and clicks [who the fuck even clicks an ad lol] will plummet and yt will be a loss leader in alphabet's portfolio.

The thing is they are totally willing to lose with YouTube in general, they have been dumbing it down and phasing it out for like 2 years... it's gonna be a worthless smart TV app that nobody even cares about within a few more years.
Google is a corporate monopoly and that's a violation of antitrust laws.

Well I mean, yeah, ideally they probably do have a case..... Regarding censorship and the like... But I'm pretty sure Youtube can come up with many reasons for banning Infowars due to the content they make... And I'm pretty sure that's what they're doing.
Though, IMO, yeah sure the courts may be corrupt, but I think that the sheep-like mindset of the public in general, and Youtube's policies, would keep Alex Jones from being protected either way. I think "offensive" content can be taken and used in many ways........ I feel Youtube knows how to leverage the generality of their policies against it's user base in legal situations and always win...
I mean what court is going to protect a Youtube channel saying that the Sandy Hook, Las vegas, or Florida High School mass shootings where government hoaxes and no one died? For some reason that's offensive to people. That, btw, is why I think "underground" platforms are a good next step.

centralization is the enemy. that's what made the internet so great to begin with, it was all decentralized. here we get to the issue of making a properly decentralized content site - ISPs have given us shit upload streams on purpose to prevent us from being content providers. my upload here isn't much different from the 50KB/s SDSL i got when it first rolled out, 18 or so years ago.
ironically 5g could help with this.. while killing us off.

Anybody got a cave?
Judging from lief's and genba's comments, I'd say Trix has raised her children well.

I have to admit, I started out listening to Alex Jones before i got into conspiracy. Someone always uploaded his radio show to usenet and I would listen to it. I grew not to like him because he didn't inform us when he was hacked and back in those days i used the same password for everything. So they got into my email. After that I quit bothering with him.
