I came from a planet with shallow water on top of a quartz-like layer.

Either the water was shallow, or I was just really fucking big, lmao!

There were no other creatures that I could see.

I could see myself "from the waist down" type deal.

I looked kind of like a seal or something, but I was blue.

My life consisted of being upon the shallow water, and I have no recollection of moving at all.

The last thing I remember was that a being (who I knew was alien) came along and proceeded to show me myself in a mirror...

I never saw myself in the mirror, that was the end.

This song has always reminded me of that life.

It really was more like a presence than a being... it was definitely another consciousness though.

It was something that wasn't me, and wasn't from the planet.

The mirror is what I really remember... the presence got my attention, and the mirror came toward me.

I remember another life where I looked in the mirror and actually saw myself.

I was a beautiful dark haired woman, exotic...

Don't know what the culture or locale was, no idea.

It was just an open building, no rooms, just columns and it had a roof/ceiling.

I was looking through a trunk, sort of in the middle of the structure.

In the trunk was a hand mirror, and I held it up and looked at myself with a huge amount of vanity.

I didn't see any scenes associated with it, but I had the knowing that I had just come back from sending a man to be put to death.

One of my other favorite past life tidbits was a single memory I had of looking at the Temple of Heaven from afar...

I know I was a young female, and I was sitting in such a way that I could see some of my clothing, but other than that, no idea who I was.

There was a great Chinese buffet in my home town, and one day I went in there and saw this huge new photo they had put up on the wall...

It was the Temple of Heaven and I was like, "OMG what IS that place?" Couldn't believe it.

Not too long after that, I acquired a ring that was very unique. Wish I still had it. It was like a very small gold coin, on the front was a panda, and on the back was the Temple of Heaven.

Eventually I found out what the building was, found out it was in Beijing, and so obviously I had lived a life there, although that's all I remember of it.

The other Asian life I remember, I was a man, and I'm pretty sure I was Japanese...

I woke from my sleep to find a short sword sticking out of my chest with my wife looking at me.

More so than the pain or the fear of dying, I was overwhelmed with the question of "Why?"

I didn't understand why she'd kill me, I was completely shocked.

I remember trying to search my mind for an answer with the time I had left but don't think I really concluded anything.

Best I can gather, either she was just a psycho, or I was an asshole, or she wanted to be with someone else.

The part I often leave out of this story is that there were also nails in the trunk...

They were quite large, and I had been stroking one of them before I picked up the hand mirror.

Pretty sure the method of execution I sent people to was crucifixion.

That was definitely an evil bitch of a lifetime right there.

I just don't know that it's historically accurate because I've heard they just tied people to crosses rather than nailing them.

Maybe the huge nails were for something else but as far as I recall, they were all about execution, so I'm thinking they were involved.
