Aren't they desert creatures??

When in ancient history were they even exposed to fish??

Cats don't even like water.

Did they score fish that washed up and rotted on the shore or something??

Is it BECAUSE fish and cats live in dramatically different places so that's why fish are like the forbidden fruit??

They can smell the nutrients that they crave.

We can too, if we eat real food and don't get hooked on the flavor enhancers that make us crave processed food.

Your body will tell you exactly what to eat to get the nutrients you need at any given moment, if you listen.

I've definitely noticed that.

Also notice that if you try to assuage your hunger by eating something else, it doesn't work. You just keep eating and never feel satisfied. That's why junk food makes people fat.

The town I work in now is economically depressed. There are two dollar stores and a convenience store. The nearest grocery store is 10 miles away. A lot of the people in town receive food stamps. Many of them don't own cars. They blow all their benefits on candy and snacks and shit. I figure someone could turn a nice profit if they opened a store in the vacant lot between the dollar store and the convenience store that sells nothing but raw meat and vegetables.

not all cats hate water. and yes, they can directly smell nutrients.

I think one of the reasons why some cats like swimming is that the weightlessness
trips out their cat-curiosity. It intrigues them so they must explore.
