90% of English speakers on YouTube had never even heard of T-Series before they came out of literally nowhere and surpassed Pewds in subs...
It was totally calculated and it was done on purpose to dethrone Pewds as the technical spokesman for the platform as a whole. YouTube has had major beef with Pewds for almost 2 years now and they had to find a way to slowly and inconspicuously as possible replace him and diminish his relevance.
