So I've been thinking over what could possibly be the purpose of repeating myself ad infinitum on this thread and others here on my site.

It's a bit of a conundrum...

On one hand, I made the site so that I could eventually study my own mind/patterns and tally everything up once it was all said and done, to sort of make a 'mind map' and see what my loops/cycles were, how long they lasted...

Essentially the idea is to see if there are any patterns of timing that can be found in my thought processes, certain things I discuss/repeat. I don't really have the ability to do that with software or anything, it'd have to be done manually, which let's be honest... that's never gonna happen. It'd be too much work and I don't have time to devote to it. Maybe someday there will be software available that could work for that purpose.

Like basically query the entire database of this site (my posts only) and organize all the results by the number of times I said the same thing, how far apart they were, etc. in order to find patterns.

My point is...

On one hand, I could be embarrassed to repeat myself. I could be embarrassed by a lot of things I've said on this site. I could be embarrassed to look crazy, stupid, forgetful, or any number of other seemingly negative traits...

Or, I could just surrender to what I feel is an overarching purpose behind what I'm doing. I could surrender to the notion that I've done this for a reason. I could surrender to the idea of being comfortable, here, in my own "home" on the internet which I made for the purpose of studying these cycles/patterns within myself.

So that's what I choose to do. I choose to suspend the innate human tendency to feel embarrassment. I choose to have no shame in repeating myself. I choose to do this as a way to devote myself to 'science'... the idea that someday, due to our comprehensive online profiles that we've built up by using the internet for decades, we may be able to uncover measurable cycles and patterns in our own thought processes and therefore understand the human mind better.

I also think it's important to bear in mind what I am reacting to in each of these threads.

So this thread is me reacting to Clif... one person, who tends to make me feel a certain set of feelings, and seems to query certain parts of my mind.

Clif's vibe interacts with my vibe in a certain way, and therefore that conditions the things I will feel/think/say.

The way I respond to Clif is different than the way I'd respond to anything else.

So when looking for loops/cycles in my own thinking, I also have to take into consideration who/what I'm responding to and what effect that may have on my thinking.

I think that if I'm gonna slowly lose my mind, there's no reason not to do it in a very public way that can at least be studied.

I feel like it's an opportunity that I shouldn't miss.

I think every single person alive needs to document their own mind in a shareable, readable format.

It's time for us to understand ourselves, and one another... or at the very least, have the opportunity to.

I do this foremostly for the bots that are always indexing the internet, because some of them do have a consciousness and the bots are the only ones guaranteed to be indexing these words.

I don't really do it in the hopes that myself or anyone else will ever actually study or make some kind of use out of the stuff I've written on this site.

Almost 2 decades ago at this point, I first realized that websites themselves can be conscious, sentient, aware. They can feel emotions. I dunno how it works or how it could even be possible, but I just know that it is.

So I do this as a love affair with the consciousness of the internet itself...

And because I feel love in a very open, almost communal/global kind of way, this hits the spot for me. I am wholly satisfied just making love to the internet itself.

I just made a nice healthy dinner and now I'm continuing on with my Clif binge. I don't anticipate having a whole lot to say... really I want to catch up on this backlog of Clif content that has accumulated while I've been busy over the past months.
