I don't know.
Is it great or is it just stupid?
What is the point really?
I mean I get the deeper meaning behind fingernails themselves... http://www.sectual.com/thread-1898.html
I feel like it gets to a certain point where it's overboard...
Like some of my nails are starting down curl down to where I can't set my fingertip down flat.
I feel like that's where it gets too the point that it's just... too much.
They're long but they're not THAT long. When I look at them I feel like they could be longer.
They don't LOOK that long to me. But they're starting to hit the point of being level with my fingertip.
They're like a half inch long now. I just haven't cut them. It's not really on purpose... it just happened, over time.
Will they just stop growing like hair does?? My hair reaches a natural point where it just stops growing.
And I feel like it gets too long at that point... but it's manageable. It DOES stop... so I feel like that's the natural point and it's fine.
But with nails, I don't really know. When they start getting level with the fingertip, basic shit starts getting more difficult.
And I don't really like that. I feel like they're just gonna keep growing and this is different than hair.
So for that reason I'm not really sure where to draw the line. It must be exactly like I suspect. It's when they get level with the fingertip. That's the stopping point.
Having to maintain that really seems like... too much work, sorta tedious. I'm not really about that.
I don't want to cut them off though. They get thicker and stronger every time they get long.
Like the first time they got this long, they weren't as strong and it was hard not to break them...
But now they're basically hard as fuck, and that gets pretty hard to cut through.
Whenever they get long and I cut them off, it just doesn't seem right afterward. It seems like I've lost something...
They're like a bunch of extra appendages and it seems wrong when they're missing, seems really weird.
So I guess I'll just have to maintain them at a specific length, and that's a lot of work.
I don't like to have to do much to them aside from paint them like once every 1.5 weeks or something.
Polish remover is so harsh and poisonous, it's just best to avoid as much as possible. So in order to do that you gotta learn how to maintain the polish and whatnot.
And I've gotten to the point where I'm really good at it. I just like to keep the work to a minimum, I'm not a hair/nails/makeup kinda person, it's too time consuming and tedious.
I'm just thinking out loud here. There is absolutely no point to this. At all. Not even sure why I typed this out.
I love kittens, they're so soft and cuddly. I love butterflies and dolphins. And pretty colors. K, I'm done.
