The day the ocean came for a visit...

Places like this may see dry ground again, but others from the looks of it... I dunno, is it possible for something like this to permanently alter the geography?

Ya don't say.

Quote:Storm surge flooding is one of the most destructive and deadly impacts from hurricanes. Water levels are already rising along the SE coast ahead of #Dorian. Low-lying coastal areas are extremely vulnerable to this surge. Don’t wait, evacuate!

Almost up to the second floor in a home likely built higher up to avoid storm surge.

Quote:As far as wobbles go for Florida, I'm watching for whether #Dorian crawls toward the western end of Grand Bahama (due to frictional effects or whatever) before beginning its move northward. Should that occur, it would increase odds of dangerous impacts to the Florida coastline.

Josh could very well be dead.

Hopefully not but...

No one who had a choice should have been there.

Check out that arm that extends well into the Gulf.

Looks like a storm that intends to go northwest at best.

The airport looks like they're on a ship at rough sea.

Yup... this guy knows.

The more stuff it has to feed off from the west, the closer west it'll stay.

haven't kept up with this thread, i've been busy. i can say this storm system was heavily engineered, though.

i suspect the damage to the mainland will be pretty minimal, considering this was a cat 5-6 storm. it wasn't meant for the mainland, at least not as anything more than a distraction.

it did completely obliterate several islands connected to epstein and that network of traffickers. after they blew shit up and destroyed stuff. dorian was the clean up crew. try to search any island down there now. you get hurricane shit.

this one should have been hit with a bomb to prevent it from doing what they wanted it to do, but whatever.
