I would agree about the Beverly Hillbillies. I don't remember many others that were that way though. It's not just rural shows though. Shows that feature working class people and make them feel like a part of society are almost non-existent anymore. My theory is that since the black/white working class was  mostly replaced by immigrants, they are no longer a viable consumer market.
