The way things are going in China right now, there won't be anything left there for Russia to covet before long.
And I'm pretty sure there's nothing in China that Russia can't do better themselves anyway. All of China's technological progress has come from stealing intellectual property from Western universities and corporations. Russia has always had talented scientists and engineers.
Maybe Russia could enslave the Chinese and force them to grow rice? Meh. The Western diet is based on wheat, not rice.
