I ain't got no fancy embedding on my site, there's no video hosting, etc., but I am HAPPY with the way it is.
I like text... I don't give a fuck about images or video. If I like an image, I'll make it a smilie. That's about it.
It all boils down to what you're looking for in a website.
If you're like me and you just enjoy text discussion, it's gonna be EASY to have your own site which is devoid of bugs for the most part.
If you were raised in internet ghettos like FB or YT and that's all you've ever known, simple text probably won't do it for you.
I'm glad I have simple needs!
