I ain't got no fancy embedding on my site, there's no video hosting, etc., but I am HAPPY with the way it is.

I like text... I don't give a fuck about images or video. If I like an image, I'll make it a smilie. That's about it.

It all boils down to what you're looking for in a website.

If you're like me and you just enjoy text discussion, it's gonna be EASY to have your own site which is devoid of bugs for the most part.

If you were raised in internet ghettos like FB or YT and that's all you've ever known, simple text probably won't do it for you.

I'm glad I have simple needs!

That's pretty cool. I've seen one of that girl's pics used as a thumbnail on another YouTube video. It was some rant about a crazy goth chick plagiarized from Reddit, and they apparently chose it at random as a stock photo. Hard to find those pics in image search anymore.

I can't take these people seriously as professional Web developers.

They pushed a massive update the day before they took several days off for Christmas. The site is gonna be broken for at least that long.

Every professional developer on earth knows not to do the "5PM Friday push."

It's a heavily modified fork of the open source [redacted] project. They're trying to eventually remove all of the [redacted] code.

They keep making changes that unintentionally impact the system in unexpected ways. I don't think they understand the code base well enough to be trying to get too fancy with it.

It's fucking exasperating. You can't treat an enterprise system like it's your personal home page.
