Who wants to have to worry about waking somebody up when you move around or sneeze or have to go take a piss? Just nonsense.
Besides, different people need different sleeping conditions... for example, I have to use a heated blanket a lot because I get cold. That's perfect for me but it could suck for someone else in bed with me.
