The Dark Passenger

The dark passenger is often a voice of wisdom, typically a specialized type of wisdom, knowledge/experience in a particular field. The dark passenger typically 'rides along' with an embodied being, as part of the passenger's karma. This is why the dark passenger is 'dark'. They are assigned to experience things through a vessel (passenger seat) for the purpose of 'community service', on the Universal level.

I'm filing that away under "ideas for future writing projects".

Reminds me of a really good book I read when I was 18 and working in a dinky little pizza joint at the mall.
