By the time social media came along, if you hadn't already been very deeply immersed in online culture and trends, you'd be hopelessly washed up in the circle jerk idiot fest that social media became.
Just A LOT of people with below average intelligence using their real names, posting photos of themselves and all their family members, hooking their smartphone contacts list up to Facebook for synching (datamining)...
The internet became a true shitshow.
This is why some of us, who have been here for a very long time at least relative to our own generation, REFUSE to use the joke that is social media.
Every single social media has been an internet ghetto shithole from the start.
And just because Elon owns the biggest share in Twitter now doesn't mean it isn't still an absolute shithole.
