I dunno if I 100% believe that just cuz I'm suspicious of anything that 'science' says.
Just sorta seems like they're underestimating cat intelligence.
Surely to God they know we're not cats, just as the same as we know we're not armadillos or something.

Awww, that's so sweet. So it's a relief to hear that they PROBABLY didn't kill the cats just to bury them with their owner, lol.
Seems a little more likely that cats were held in such high esteem that they buried them with the owner later on down the line, even though this seems like "disturbing" a grave, I guess it wouldn't been seen that way if they loved their pets that much.
