Steve is signing up for the free 7 day trial of MarineTraffic tracking website, which will be a charge of $1400 if he forgets to cancel it before it bills.

Just set an alarm to go off the day before rebill... that's what I do.

One person in the chat said it's earliest cancel 30 days after free trial... rofl. I think they're just trolling but that's pretty funny.

God the internet is full of assholes.

It's hilarious but it's just wrong.

I do appreciate that he's pronouncing Newfoundland pretty much correctly.

I've heard him say it before and he was way off, so this is progress.

If the submersible did implode, it's not like they'd find much.

Just another example of how diverse the lifeforms on this planet truly are... what can live in the ocean depths is far different than what can live on the surface. Might as well be another planet. Humanity has no business trying to colonize space until it's exhausted exploration of its own planet first.

No, it's not a bad way to go. The only thing that would make it "bad" is if you knew for any amount of time beforehand that anything was going wrong. Like I said earlier, worst part about it is being in that close of proximity with several other people for more than a few minutes. If the vessel imploded, death would be faster than instant.

With that amount of pressure involved, death would be so fast that it essentially warps fuckin' spacetime. It's not even remotely the same as say for instance the way people die "instantly" in a motor vehicle crash.
