No one should have ever laid eyes on that ship again after it sank 2.5 miles underwater. It's just straight up inappropriate that they ever did.

Do you really fucking think even HALF of these people would be this interested in the Titanic if tons of people hadn't died on it? Man fuck no. It'd be just another fucking shipwreck. Some people would be crazy enough to go hunting for treasure on it (which would have been fine if no one had died), the same people who already do that sorta shit.
But these people paying $250k to go down there, and the people like Cameron who made special vehicles to go down there...
They're only interested because 1000+ people died on the ship when it sank, that's why. That's fucking why.

If no one had died, no one would be obsessed with the Titanic today and they certainly wouldn't risk their lives to go see it.
