Yeah that would be WAAAY too much effort. I would rather be globally hated for the way I talk and accept that LITERALLY NO ONE likes it at all than to put in the effort to fake a different way of speaking.
That said, since I was a kid, I have had a pretty bitchin' Valley Girl accent on tap and it's A LOT of fun to talk that way sometimes. I do love it, I can't lie.
