The reason everyone is so unhealthy is because the body system is overrun by all kinds of assaults from bad diets, pharmaceuticals, pollution... if there was even an ATTEMPT to consume a halfway healthy diet (with exercise), people would be so much better off, life expectancy would be longer, etc. The body can handle SOME abuse and you can live to be 90 with SOME habits that are considered unhealthy. But there is too much of an imbalance with our modern diet and lifestyles, and the body can't handle it.
