What's really sad is how "listening to your body" is basically interpreted as "woo-woo" shit by so many people. The concept of the body having any kind of innate intelligence and discernment of its own is like crazy talk to them.

The gut is the second brain, it's the seat of intuition (or at least a big part of it IMO)... of course it's going to have thoughts that we can pick up on. It gets back to all these newfangled concepts like "anxiety" and "panic attacks". These things stem from people not listening to their bodies. Lack of awareness of the effects of their actions on the body. Continually doing unhealthy things, for example, and ignoring warning after warning from the body.

Society/the masses are in a terrible position where they've been brainwashed against common sense itself from day one.
