I love cabbage but when I use purple cabbage as a side, I would put it in a saucepan with a little olive oil and seasoned rice vinegar. the vinegar has sugar in it and I just toss it around until the cabbage goes limp and it makes a perfect side with fish.
mmm mouth watering just thinking about it. I'm not hungry and I do have some of that vinegar because my husband loves it on his salads.
