That's pretty trippy.
It definitely seems plausible that cats were much bigger at one point, I would be pretty freaked out to see a dinosaur-size cat.
But on that topic, if life is so much smaller now than it used to be, is that trend going to continue? Are animals/humans all going to be tiny and microscopic in the future?
Yes I really think so. The evidence seems to be insects, they are like the smallest creatures on the planet yet they've been around the longest.
Maybe it's a natural evolution or adaption to overpopulation, because the smaller you are the less resources you need and less space you take up.
You should ask the cats about the future if you haven't already...
