When I was younger I got into some trouble with the law. Had to do 120 hours of community service I got the animal shelter at the time it was a kill shelter. It was kind of a service to the town you could bring your pet that had passed to the shelter and have themĀ cremated/disposed of in the incinerator.
They fired it up the last Tuesday night of each month I worked it twice that was enough for me.
It's not funny but it kinda is.we would get some people coming back the next day wanting the ashes.of their pets.
What they didn't understand was that each animal wasn't cremated separate cats,dogs, city streets road kill all together so I'd just go get a baggie full and say there he or she isĀ
That was a good learning experience workings with animals
My last day I adopted a German Shepherd Chow mix and a red nose pit bull ,saved their asses they were scheduled to be put down.both lived a long life died of old age and they are buried side by side in my own pet cemetery.
