Living in a small town isn't helping your opportunities for finding suitable men. What do you propose to do about that?
I wouldn't recommend dating apps either. Online dating is a miserable experience all the way around. You'll invariably be disappointed because there are no mythical people on the Internet who are somehow better than the ones you'd meet in real life.
TL;DR: You definitely need to meet people in real life, and you need to do it someplace where there's a large variety.
