What is love?

I'm sorry that you've had the experiences both personally and vicariously that have inspired you to share this poignant post.

Unfortunately, I don't really have any positive stuff to say about the concept of romantic love.

I've discussed it quite a bit though...

I've always said the only "real" love is familial love... and that romantic love is just lust, til it's not anymore, then it's just friendship (if you ever even liked each other as friends to begin with).

If you have the love feeling for animals, that's all you need... animals are better than humans in every capacity, especially for providing happiness, entertainment, companionship, etc. We don't need anything else.

And animals (pets) are a luxury.

All you really need is to love yourself... if you don't, good luck.

TL;DR...

"Love" is bait, and its role is solely for the purpose of reproduction.

We are programmed to make more humans...

This is how we are tricked into doing so.

It's ALL about reproduction...

There is no other purpose.
