You’re not wrong... something does appear to be amiss.
It is complexion... there’s something about his natural state that makes one assume he’s somehow sickly on first glance.
I don’t know if it’s because he is, or if that’s just what he looks like due to genetics. Some kinda Italian thing? I honestly have no idea.
I know somebody who used to swear that they don’t consider Italian people to be “white”... like they’ve got something else in there.
I always thought that was pretty strange... I mean they look white to me. But Frank could be a good example of their appearance being sort of confusing in the realm of complexion.
Maybe this is why he tans so much. There have been a few vids on his channel which showed him starkly pale compared to his maintained state of tan today...
Truth if the matter is that any kind of extreme diet is an imbalance. I’m not saying he’s not healthy... but if he has issues, he should bring more balance to the diet.
I think it all boils down to presenting yourself to the world the way you are naturally. Fake tan has to be maintained... therefore when you reveal yourself after a lapse of maintaining whatever fake feature, people will immediately think you look different and there will be concern.
This is a good example of why it’s best to drop any fakeness and be upfront about whatever you’re working with.
Frankie also had a (mostly cosmetic) jaw surgery and some theorize this also plays into his unique sorta look. He’s a nice fellow, none of this is meant to be critical of him.
