Gotta be honest...

Mhm
I was so tired of looking at Trix's fucking face.

LOL...

I will be glad not to see her again.

Rest in peace, Trix...

You were a temporary solution to a problem I don't have anymore.

Granted she could've used an updated avatar, but killing her off altogether seems a tad severe.

What was the problem the Trix role was intended to solve?

At any rate, it looks like you're getting back to your Web roots in some way, although I don't quite understand what it's about.

Oh, I meant to tell you that some YouTuber is using the moniker MR. OBVIOUS. While I think you'd probably agree with his politics and message, I'm not sure how you'd take seeing someone else co-opting your online identity. From what I understand, a large swath of the Internet associates this moniker with you.

I was pissed when I entered a WinMX channel one day and saw another "Bart Stutton" in there. People had been telling me they had seen me acting like an asshole and completely out of character in the channels, although a few said they knew it wasn't me.

I’ve been Mister Obvious since 2002 on four or five forums.

Trix was a necessary persona at the time... I don’t like her now.

Trix hasn’t been with me for 17 years and she means nothing to me...

shrug

Dunno what else to tell you.

I’ve had a picture of the MO avatar hanging on my wall since like 2005...

She’s been a very serious part of my life for a very long time.

People in real life literally used to call me MO.

So for those who don’t understand, it’s nice to meet you...

But I am not new here after all.

Most of them got it from me.

It’s just a fact.

Anybody using it before 2002, fine...

But anybody after that probably saw some shit I said at one time.

There’s been a lapse of three years since I’ve used it and that disappearance left others to have to fill the void...

But the bitch is back, as they say.

I'd think that anyone picking a new screen name nowadays would've chosen the more common and obvious (haha) variant "Captain Obvious." That's why it struck me as a rather large coincidence that the guy chose "Mister."

That was my second MO account... before that I had another one, but I flounced and deleted it.

That was my first and only lesson with flouncing, because if you do it once and don't learn your lesson, you're just an idiot.

I took a 10,000 post screen cap when I was Sinister Motives on Flamebunker. That was in the final days before Whoopteedo shut it down and sold the domain name. Lost the pic years ago.

It's always so exciting to hit that 10,000 mark. For some reason it still feels like the most special.

But I like to think of myself as a bit of an archivist instead.

To me, taking screencaps of funny shit or memorable moments is just like having a photo album of candid pictures with your friends and family or whatever.

I used to get made fun of a lot for my extensive archiving, but I always knew I was doing the right thing and honoring my own path.

I don't really take screencaps or save stuff very often anymore. But sometimes I do.
