War Pictures

Two of the best war movies you'll ever see are free on YouTube.

Stalag 17 (1952)

This is the film that launched the Hogan's Heroes TV series. Allied airmen in a German POW camp discover there's a snitch among them. If you loved M*A*S*H and Catch-22, you won't want to miss this one.

The Enemy Below (1957)

An American destroyer escort captain matches wits with a German U-boat captain in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Fans of The Hunt for Red October will enjoy this picture.

Thanks! I'll watch this tonight.

Flo is over here trying to make me watch slasher films at bedtime. She wants me to have nightmares.

I can't be arsed to tell them apart, sweety. The zombie genre has been done to death. Night of the Living Dead pretty much satisfied all of my zombie apocalypse needs.

Boy, you guys are in for a treat tonight! Banana

At first I was thinking this isn't really a war picture, although the lead character has a lot of war flashbacks.

As the story progressed, I realized the while thing was about how the war affected him 10 years later.

The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit (1956)
