Brown hair isn’t a defect, yet there are people out there constantly dying their hair blonde. Obviously they must think that blonde is more desirable.
Bad vision is certainly not something you want for your children...
Subconscious reasons for wearing contacts can be explained away with simpleton terms like ‘vanity’, but it’s actually a desire to hide those faulty genetics.
Well, I think this explains a whole lot about human behavior.
whoever controls the media controls how beauty is perceived by the masses , i think that has changed a lot in the last 20 years with internet but still you have an overpowering influence of hollywood movies , tv
however people have been using make up and fancy dress for thousands of years and so in general i think its just like adding spice to food

Because I had actually been doing some very obscene and scandalous things with my hair and there may or may not have been a time when I dyed it fire orange, then dark brown... LMFAO!!! I tired of the idiocy and sought to lighten it somehow back (closer) to my natural shade WITHOUT the use of dye and thank God it worked.

A lot of cases of dying the hair are just some kind of self expression thingy I guess...
But some are truly attempts to conceal genetics, I have known people who were OBSESSED with blonde hair and loathed the darkness of their own hair. I am serious. Those are the people I’m referencing for the most part.
The contacts thing though? Spot on almost without fail... you can’t even see contacts, therefore subconsciously you go around interpreting people who don’t wear glasses as people with perfect vision. That’s trickery... they’re trying to broadcast that they have no defects in their senses and are therefore quality breeding material.

Some will say they think contacts are just more convenient, like when it rains your glasses don’t get wet cuz you’re not wearing them! You know, the usual...

Because humans don’t want anything that could be considered bad genes flaunted around since that could impede their chances of reproduction. Bottom line.
It’s all about reproduction. There is no other motivation in humanity.

Then you have warped people who go around altering their appearances unnaturally...
Dying their hair unnatural shades, covering their bodies in tattoos, etc. these people are likely victims of abuse (or otherwise traumatized, specific types of trauma can cause this) and are trying to scare away any potential suitors in order to protect themselves.

Usually abused as children or very young people (sometimes even in young adulthood though usually it happens well before that).
They could be traumatized from something existential, like the loss of a loved one which then makes them bitter toward life itself because without life there would be no death, therefore subconsciously they want to avoid reproduction, i.e. the potential of loss.

Generally the reasoning revolves around some type of trauma which they subconsciously link either with childhood, or with life itself, and they seek to avoid reproduction so as to avoid pain.

This the reason for what we many times hear referred to as “letting oneself go”...
After successful reproduction, people (especially women) often cease their attempts to cover up the ‘faulty’ genetics. They stop coloring their hair, maybe they start wearing glasses, maybe they get all fat and nasty.
Well it’s because they accomplished their mission of reproduction, and with the welfare state that has been feeding single moms and their kids for decades, the women have no reason to upkeep their trickery rituals in order to secure resources for their offspring.
This is why, often, men will continue their entire lives with their particular trickery rituals... because men can always reproduce regardless of age etc. This is one of the reasons it’s perceived that men “age better” than women.
The solution to all of this is to never start on the path of trickery in the first place. Don’t conceal your genetic defects. You’ll be innocent of misleading anyone. You may never reproduce, but at least you didn’t live a lie.
