No offense, I mean it's been a great keyboard and it still works fine but...

Whenever I look at it I start to worry that I might not be able to type properly if there aren't any FUCKING LETTERS ON IT.

Even the more upscale keyboards with mechanical switches seem a little chintzy compared to the old IBM PC keyboard. I don't like the type of plastic they make things out of nowadays. It just looks brittle or something.

Seems like the letters on this keyboard were just stickers...

But it seems like there is some type of coating over the whole 9 yards as well.

There are fingernail dents in some of the keys above and below where the letter stickers are...

I dunno, it just seems to be made in part from a material that is too soft.

Old-school keyboards would have never shown fingernail dents, that would be unheard-of.

That looks like a way harder plastic than whatever the hell my keyboard is made out of.

My nails do wear down on one side from typing and I have to level them out when I file my nails.

Ew, now it's rubbing off on my nails and leaving rubbery black residue on my fingertips...

Hurl

Time for a new keyboard.

The "E" key is totally rubbed off.

The "N" key is almost totally rubbed off, about the same as the "L" key.

The "M" and "N" keys have the deepest fingernail dents on them, and the "E" key has the widest groove/dent of all.

Of all the things I've searched that's one that's literally never happened! LOL!

Maybe your sticky fingers from doing some rubbing yourself are the cause.

No it's the fingernails...

They have pecked away the letters.

I've heard people argue that chicks with long nails don't do a fucking thing...

Well, about me that's generally true, but I DO cook and clean with these nails.

And type... until the keys are dented.

I actually prefer them unpainted...

I mean besides clearcoat.

I do paint them now and then for fun though.

I just don't prefer it.

I think it's more unique to have them natural.

When they're painted people just assume they're fake like everyone else's.

When they're unpainted/painted clear, you can tell they're actually real.

They grow long better than they used to...

They used to angle down when they got to this length, but they don't do that so much anymore.

You can actually train your nails to be long...

It's like there's some kind of invisible memory/matrix and they get used to growing to a certain length.

Seems like once they've grown out long, they can get there faster each time and be more strong/established than previous instances.
